I’ve tried repeatedly to login including using my password manager, copy and paste and even manually entering every single character by hand. Nothing works, “unable to process your request. Please try again later or simply continue as a guest.”Extremely frustrating experience and I see I’m not the only person having this issue. Pointless having an app if you can’t access it!

Sometimes the app works other times …

Frequently the response from the app is that it cannot process the request right now or that we need to see a ticket agent. Trying again, 2-5 times typically allows one to move forward. Sometimes I can get info from the app, sometimes using a browser.

Why is the app trying to charge me for something I have already paid for?

The app does not allow you to change your seat within the same class of seat. I already paid over £100 extra for economy delight, but if I change to another economy delight seat on the aisle, middle or window, it shows I owe $50. Is this a new policy or just the app? That has never happened before. I am so disappointed that Virgin Atlantic wants to charge me double for economy delight. Also, I was not able to verify my passport with the app. It says verify, but there was no place to click to start the process. I do appreciate that I can put the Delta confirmation number in and have the app recognize it as the Virgin number, even though they are different numbers. However, they are not easily found on my reservation. Thank you for matching the two numbers.

Too many bugs in their app

I kept having to type in the same information over and over again. Family had to decline giving you any more information than I had to. This was very frustrating.

No communication

I’ve been trying to speak with anyone from this airline for four days.

I can never access the flying club despite numerous calls

The only time I can use the App is when I have a flight confirmation code. Despite numerous calls to your chat desk I have never been able to login to the Virgin flying club using my membership number and password. I have tried resetting the password numerous times to. I just get fobbed off by customer service staff saying that should fix the problem but if it persists call back (wait 2-4 hours) and talk to another rep.

Best airline worst web and app!

Love virgin and fly a lot but the website and the app is absolutely awful !

I tried logging onto the app last month. No dice. Tried this morning- no dice. Deleted the app and tried again. Still an error. Do you not want my money?

Won’t confirm baggage or update seat right after selection. No prompts for check in.

App login just gives error message

The title kinda says it all. The app won’t let me log in which is frustrating because I’d rather be able to view everything through my rewards account and not guest mode. Would love it if you could fix this.

Log in always difficult

My wife and I both have always problem with logging on to Virgin App. Why is that password which allows us to log in on the computer does not work on your App. We find it most unfriendly App of any airline!

Poor functionality

Spent 15 minutes trying to add a payment method. App couldn’t save payment info

The login process is so clunky. Verification emails take so long to process that access codes time out. This app moves like it’s been dropped in molasses

Can’t log in

There’s something wrong with this app. Works well if you can log in, but with regularity it logs you out and when you try to log back in you get an error message saying “We’re sorry…We are unable to process your request. Please try again later or simply continue as guest.” Account number, email, password, all correct but it won’t work. Delete and redownload the app, won’t work. And it does this with regularity. Kinda useless if you can’t log into to your account.

Flight status

The flight status notifications where you save tracked flights been not working properly at all when u go to watch won’t let you do it please fix entire app

Login Is Broken

There’s no way for users who don’t have a user name / password to authenticate with Apple, Google, etc (which is available on web). When you try to change to change this from web it says “You are currently using a social log in to sign in. To manage your login details, please visit your social platform” which makes 0 sense, especially for ppl who authenticate with Apple. Your app is unusable for me until you fix this

Logins a pain

As much as I want to love this app, it is clunky and login challenges are massive . Check in is getting better , but still too much friction. As a 150k a year traveler. This app is the worst of the airlines I fly.

Glitchy

Not sure why this app never works for me. It always logs me out and makes me change my password every time I try to log on. Even with remember me on, it doesn’t open properly

Can’t check in

App states that it can’t provide my boarding passes until I’ve checked in with the first airline. Even though I have completed that step, it still does not provide boarding passes.

Inoperable. Can’t get past the inoperable cookies disclaimer. The buttons don’t register input and I’m stuck.

Technical support

Worst App I ever used. Attempted to get hep to reset my password, the options for reservation, check in, etc. Tried login to my email address, it brought me to cookies statement then back to login window.

Frustrating App Login Issue and Poor Technical Support

The app won’t let me log in. I have tried several times over the last three weeks, and every time I try, it says, ‘We’re sorry… We are unable to process your request. Please try again later or simply continue as a guest.’ I even deleted the app and reinstalled it, but without success. I also tried a hard reboot of my phone, but nothing worked. There’s nothing more frustrating than this—what poor tech! I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max with the latest version of the software, iOS 18.0.1.

Awful

This is by far the worst airline app out there. Booking is impossible, it signs you out randomly, it tells you that your device has no memory(?) Needs a complete overhaul.

Almost useless

I was unable to accomplish any of the things that I wanted to accomplish with this app because it just gave me a cookie banners, and I was not able to use either of the buttons. They did nothing and I couldn’t get the cookie manner to go away.

Ok when it actually works

Ok when it actually works. Frequently won’t let me log in. It hangs up when accessing My Trips.

Not Functional

How can a company like Virgin not notice and not care, that their App and Flying Club are broken for over a month. Hello Virgin. NOTHING works anymore here. Please fix this.

Subpar app experience

This is by far the worst travel app I have used. After logging in to the app, each attempt to load a trip from My Trips results in an endless “loading” message. Multiple attempts at doing so have not helped. What is the point of an airline app that does not load your basic trip details? The web site works but not the app!

Cannot add boarding pass to Wallet

The App had some issues getting set up but even though I can get the Aztec barcode boarding pass I am unable to add my boarding pass to the wallet. Hopefully the tiny looking barcode works at the airport when I board.

So slow and all I get are error messages

Can’t log in, takes forever for things to load when I click on them and 99% of the time nothing works. I had to check in to my flight as a guest because I couldn’t log in. Tried to book a seat and the seating map wouldn’t load. Prior to this, I was logged in and trying to check in and it was loading for so long that I logged out and it just made it worse. Horrible horrible horrible.

What’s going on ?

I have been trying to log in to the app for over a week with no luck. I have the current version downloaded what is going on ?? W Why can I no longer log in ??

No App should be this bad.

We can’t all be using the same app: Reading these reviews is so confounding. This app runs worse then their own website when opened on the same phone using the same internet. You search for a flight, while it load you could make a full 3 course meal, that is until it looses connection and you have to restart the process. Internet speed does not seem to help get answers any faster. Let me provide and example. We spent 1.5 hours trying to get this app to load available flights and did not see any results to our requested search. We went to the website and got the flight booked in 10 minutes.

Terrible app

Tried to check in with my wife. App would check me in, but not my wife. Every time I tried to check her in it would bring up my passport info, but not hers which had been input. No explanation as to why. After she checked in with an agent at the airport and had her boarding pass, the app still showed her as not checked in.

Pretty bad. Can’t do simple things like view flight info

Couldn’t use the app to check in nor see my flight info. Had to do it on the computer. Very annoying when trying to go paperless. There really is no point to this app if it can’t do basic stuff.

Can’t Log In

Not able to log in when using this app. I have no issue logging in on my mobile browser and laptop. Please fix this app!

Horrendous app. Kept failing. Maybe booked me twice.

This was a horrendous experience. Repeatedly failed to load. Completely confusing. Here I am trying to pay money, and it won’t let me. I will never use it again. Delta confirmed when I came to the airport to check in that maybe I was charged twice. Looks like that’s true. What a nice surprise. Finding that out before I leave for the United States. at the last minute. Couldn’t dial the number they had for customers support.

Awful App

Can’t check in on app for flight. Can’t get boarding pass after checking in at airport. Can’t download card to Apple Wallet. Airplanes are old and out of date with OLD video screens.

Unusable

This app may be the worst airline app I have ever used. It is impossible to book flights, check on your flight, or basically do anything in this app. Just use the website.
